Pediatric Care
At Align Chiropractic, we believe childhood should be spent exploring the world. Children are meant to run, play, learn, create, and connect with the world around them. Our goal is to support growing bodies so kids can spend more time doing the things that make childhood special.
Many parents assume chiropractic care is only for children who are in pain, but that's not always the case. While we commonly see headaches, sports injuries, growing pains, posture concerns, and difficulty focusing, children don't need to have a specific complaint to benefit from care. Sometimes the signs are more subtle—a child who seems more tense than usual, struggles to settle at night, or simply isn't functioning quite like themselves.
As children grow, their bodies are constantly adapting to physical, emotional, and environmental stress. School, sports, technology, injuries, growth spurts, and everyday life all place demands on a child's ability to adapt. When those demands begin to outweigh the body's ability to keep up, it can affect how a child engages with the world around them.
Our focus isn't simply on reducing symptoms—it's on helping children function at their best. By identifying and reducing areas of stress and interference within the body, we help support their ability to move, adapt, grow, and thrive.

FAQs
How are children adjusted?
1
Pediatric chiropractic care is tailored to your child's age, size, comfort level, and individual needs. While some older children and teens may benefit from a traditional adjustment, many children are adjusted using gentle, low-force techniques such as the Activator or ArthroStim. We always choose the approach that is most appropriate for your child, ensuring their experience is both comfortable and effective.
What conditions do you commonly see in children?
2
We commonly care for children experiencing headaches, growing pains, sports injuries, posture concerns, sleep disturbances, recurring ear infections, bedwetting, and difficulty focusing. While many families seek care for a specific concern, others are looking to support their child's ability to grow, adapt, and function at their best.
I don't think my child will want to lay on the table. Can they still be adjusted?
3
Absolutely! Our office is designed with kids in mind. While some children are happy to hop right on the table, many are adjusted during play, while being held by a parent, or even while they're on the move. We meet children where they're most comfortable and make every effort to keep their experience fun.
Do you work with young athletes?
4
Yes! Whether your child participates in organized sports or simply loves to stay active, chiropractic care can help support recovery, mobility, coordination, and overall movement. We commonly work with young athletes dealing with sports injuries, overuse complaints, growing pains, and performance-related concerns.
Every child deserves the opportunity to feel, move, & function at their best.
